AWS

AWS or The Approved Workshop Scheme is described on the AWS website as:
The Approved Workshop Scheme is a joint enterprise between the NCC (National Caravan Council), The Caravan and Motorhome Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club. Originating on the 1st January 1978, and the only scheme to be supported by all of the major UK manufacturers, AWS is now the UK’s largest group of independently assessed workshops and is seen as the benchmark for motorhome and touring caravan servicing in the UK.
This means that if your van is under manufacturers warranty you don’t have to go back to your dealer to have your caravan serviced or your motorhome habitation because your local AWS engineer is approved to do this for you.
Using your local engineer means they can come to you and the stress of taking the van sometimes hundreds of miles back to the dealership can be avoided.
You can still use an AWS engineer even if your van is out of warranty
