Booking In
As a new customer | As an existing customer
When you first make contact with us, we need to know a few things about you and your leisure vehicle. First we need to know where you are and where your van is stored. We cover the areas of Telford and Shrewsbury normally but we do have customers out towards Market Drayton, Stafford, Wolverhampton and Kingswinford. Telling us where you are or where your van is stored will allow us to quickly tell you if we cover the area and can help.
The next info we need from you is the make, model and age of your van and if it’s a caravan whether it is a single or twin axle. We ask for the age because we can only work on vans 2005 onwards, anything older and we are not covered with our public liability. We ask for the make because some manufacturers don’t allow mobile engineers to work on their vans. Most do but the likes of Dethlefs, Hymer, Pilote, Rapido etc will not, even though we are AWS registered, to preserve your warranty you must go back to the dealership. We ask if the caravan is a single or twin axle as this helps us plan the diary along with where the van is located.
If your van is under manufacturers warranty then we also need to know your registration date. You typically have 60 days either side of your registration date (called the warranty window) and so knowing this will help us get you the best date in the diary.
So to recap, when you contact us we need to know the following info
- Make
- Model
- Age
- Location
- Single or twin axle
- Vehicle registration date
Booking in as an existing customer
As an existing customer we will have all your details on file and we will know when your last caravan service or motorhome habitation was done. All you need to do is contact us at least 8 weeks ahead to let us know that you want your van doing again this year. Some customers book in for next year straight away and we send an email confirmation when booking in, but we don’t have the facility to send a reminder so if you do book in, please make sure to add it to your calendar.
If you do book in a year ahead, please be aware that the price may alter if we have to put up prices. We try to leave prices alone but from time to time we do have to adjust them. If an adjustment is to be made, it’s normally done at the beginning of the year and if we can we will send out a blanket email informing the change.
